Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using TrackFi. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and TrackFi (“TrackFi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the TrackFi web application, including all features, content, and services made available through trackfi.me and related subdomains (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, clicking “Sign in with Google,” or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms were last updated on March 26, 2026. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, subject to the notice requirements set out in Section 13.
2. Service Description
TrackFi is a personal finance tracking software-as-a-service (“SaaS”) platform designed to help individuals manage, visualize, and understand their personal finances. The Service allows users to:
- Manually record and categorize income and expense transactions;
- Create and manage financial accounts (e.g., checking, savings, investments);
- Visualize spending patterns, trends, and financial summaries through charts and dashboards;
- Set and track budgets and savings goals;
- Export financial data in standard formats.
Important limitation: TrackFi does not connect directly to any bank, financial institution, brokerage, or payment processor account. TrackFi does not have access to your actual bank accounts, credit cards, or investment accounts. All financial data within the Service is entered manually by you. TrackFi is not a bank, financial institution, investment advisor, or payment service provider.
TrackFi does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The information and tools provided through the Service are for informational and organizational purposes only and should not be construed as professional financial advice.
3. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- General: You must be at least 18 years of age. By accessing the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
- EU/UK Users: In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, users between the ages of 16 and 17 may use the Service only with verifiable parental or guardian consent. Users under 16 in the EU/UK are not permitted to use the Service.
- Legal capacity: You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.
- Sanctions: You must not be located in a country that is subject to a United States government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and you must not be listed on any government prohibited or restricted parties list.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not access or use the Service.
4. User Accounts
Account creation: Access to the Service requires authentication through Google OAuth 2.0. By signing in with your Google account, you authorize TrackFi to receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google for the purpose of creating and maintaining your account. You represent that the Google account you use belongs to you and that the information provided is accurate.
Account security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Google account credentials. Since TrackFi relies on Google for authentication, the security of your TrackFi account is directly tied to the security of your Google account. You agree to notify TrackFi immediately at our contact form if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
Account responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, regardless of whether such activity is authorized by you. TrackFi is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain adequate security of your account.
One account per user: Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts for the purpose of circumventing restrictions, abusing free trial limitations, or any other reason is prohibited.
Account termination by you: You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:
- In any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation;
- To transmit, knowingly receive, upload, download, use, or re-use any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate TrackFi, a TrackFi employee, another user, or any other person or entity;
- To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm TrackFi or users of the Service or expose them to liability;
- To attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Service, the servers on which the Service is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Service;
- To use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service for any purpose without our express written permission;
- To reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Service;
- To use the Service to process or store financial data on behalf of third parties as a commercial service without a separate written agreement with TrackFi;
- To circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service.
Violation of these provisions may result in immediate termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Pro plan features until the end of the period for which you have already paid.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us unambiguously at our contact form before the 14-day period expires. If you request immediate access to the Service during the withdrawal period and subsequently withdraw, you agree that we may charge you a pro-rata amount for the service provided up to the point of withdrawal.
Refund for service failures: If TrackFi experiences a significant service outage or material breach of these Terms attributable to TrackFi, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a pro-rata credit or refund for the affected period. Please contact us at our contact form to report such issues.
Free plan: The Free plan may be discontinued or modified at any time without notice or compensation, subject to reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.
8. Intellectual Property
Your data: You retain full ownership of all financial data, transaction records, categories, notes, and other content that you input into the Service (“User Content”). TrackFi claims no ownership over your User Content. You grant TrackFi a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service to you.
TrackFi intellectual property: The Service, including its design, software, source code, algorithms, user interface, graphics, logos, trademarks, and all other content and materials (excluding User Content), are owned by TrackFi or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material constituting TrackFi’s intellectual property, except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law. You may not use any TrackFi trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.

11. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TrackFi and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use or misuse of the Service; (c) your User Content; (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (e) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property, publicity, confidentiality, property, or privacy right.
This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your account and these Terms. TrackFi reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you shall cooperate with TrackFi in asserting any available defenses.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, this indemnification clause applies only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer protection law.
12. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with and relies upon the following third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies:
Google (OAuth & Firebase)
TrackFi uses Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication and Google Firebase (Firestore) for data storage. Your use of these services is subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Stripe
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing to the Pro plan, you agree to Stripe’s Services Agreement and Privacy Policy. TrackFi does not have access to your full payment card details.
TrackFi is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or policies of third-party services. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the conduct of any third party. You access and use third-party services at your own risk. Any transactions you conduct with third parties are solely between you and such third parties.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. These links are provided for your convenience only. TrackFi has no control over the contents of those sites or resources and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
13. Changes to Terms
TrackFi reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice by:
- Sending an email notification to the email address associated with your account;
- Displaying a prominent notice within the Service; and/or
- Updating the “Effective” date at the top of this page.
For minor, non-material changes (such as corrections of typographical errors, clarifications that do not alter your rights, or changes required by law), we may update the Terms without 30 days’ notice, but will update the “Effective” date.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and, if you are a Pro plan subscriber, cancel your subscription before the effective date of the changes.
EU/UK consumers: EU / UK If changes to the Terms are materially detrimental to you and you do not accept them, you may terminate your subscription without penalty within the notice period, and you will receive a pro-rata refund for any unused prepaid subscription period.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
The following provisions apply based on your country of residence or principal place of use.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the City of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil.
For users located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, these Terms are governed by the applicable law of the user’s country of residence. EU consumers retain all rights afforded by their local consumer protection laws and the mandatory provisions of EU law, which cannot be excluded by contract. For users located in the United States, these Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and not in a court of law.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AND TRACKFI AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. IF FOR ANY REASON A CLAIM PROCEEDS IN COURT RATHER THAN IN ARBITRATION, BOTH YOU AND TRACKFI WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, TrackFi reserves the right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information.
